I grew up in Iowa and moved to Carbondale CO my senior year of high school. I had Ashley with me for a period of time but just didn't have the resources or family support to continue raising her by myself. I loved her and giving her up was the hardest thing I have every done in my life. It was almost 26 years ago and I still feel the pain like it was yesterday. I was told that my daughter's adoptive family were already the parents of a boy, age 4-5. I want to be able to tell her how much I loved her and that I always have.
