I had a private attorney which was paid for by the adoption family. I never met them. I cannot remember the attorney's name. For some reason I keep thinking the attorney's name was Jeffery. His office was in Salt Lake City. He knew the adoption family on a personal basis. My daughter was born May 15, 1982. She went home with her new mom and dad upon leaving the hospital after being born. I signed the papers at Salt Lake County Court House on State Street approximately May 19, 1982. I did this out of love. I was 19 and financially unstable. I could not care for another child. The only thing I wanted was a wonderful family for my daughter and my attorney fees paid.
