The lawyer my adoptive parents hired didn't do anything correctly. By law, the state of TN is supposed to put down the biological fathers name on the paperwork but he never did and even if my birth mother didn't know it then she had to put down what she thought it may have been. He did a lot of things that were wrong and when you google his name, all these sights come up that calls the kids he found for adoption 'pound puppies' because just like puppies from the pound, the kids he found for adoption came with little to no paperwork. I have some from my birth mothers side but nothing from my birth father. I don't even think he knows I was ever conceived.
