I am a birth sibling trying to find my older adopted sister. The birth date that I have is 9/23/1981. I am not 100% certain on the day but I think it is close. I am pretty certain on the month and year. I believe she was with my parents for close to a year and then the state became involved and they relinquished their rights to her. I have been told she had club foot and did not walk until 13 months. The initial/temporary foster parent was Dennis Ecternach. She was adopted out in Grand Island, NE. It was a closed adoption. I am not sure if an agency was used or if it was just the state.
