mother's name is 'chris' as referred to in a letter her boyfriend at time of adoption wrote to me (elizabeth). i guessed that she would have given me her own last name. father's birthyear is guessed based on the fact that he was 29 when i was given up. unless his birthday is in jan or feb, that would have him born in 52. i was born in new orleans, la and adopted from federal way, wa. at time of adoption, chris was living with her mother (a former nun), her step-father (who was ill), and her sister (who was 16 and blonde). she had never had a job and was fighting a lot with her mother. they told the social workers that she was being kicked out when she turned 18. she left a letter for me, asking me to find her; and another letter to my adpotive parents asking them to send her updates about me. but my adoptive parents say it was a closed adoption so they couldn't send her anything - they didn't know her information.
