The agency was Catholic Charities or Edna Gladney. I am not sure which. My adoptive mother is very vague with the details. I think she knows a lot more than she lets on. She doesn't want me to be able to find my birth mother, which devastates me. She told me I weighed about 3lbs and 14oz. I was a premie and my lungs weren't fully developed. She said I got adopted on November 6 1981 but was born September 23 1981. She said I went into foster care for just a few days before they brought me home. The lady there nicknamed me Sarah church at least I think it was a nickname. She said my birth mother was the ages 14-16. She was not sure. She told me that my birth mothers mom had passed away before I was born with some kind of brain tumor or breast cancer. She wasn't sure which one. She told me my birth mother was possibly a cheerleader in high school.
