Placed for adoption immediately at birth. I was placed in the St. Peter's Home for Unwed Mothers when my parents found out I was expecting and would not allow me to keep my child. I was 17 years old and should have been in my first semester at college. I was not even given the opportunity to meet my baby. I did go on to college; I was a Registered Nurse for 32 years and worked with infants much of the time. My daughter has two siblings; a sister and a brother and one nephew and four nieces.
