Other Information This adoption, was a private adoption between my Birth Mother and my Adopted Parents. Another 'Adoption Agency' with a religious affiliation attempted to have my Birth Mother sign papers giving me to them but my Adopted Parents ended up taking them to court for me. As the story goes, my mother was poss. the youngest of 4 or 5 siblings. All other siblings reportedly had gone off to college. My birth mother reportedly had several children, 1 was adopted by her mother (a girl), one was kept by my birth mother (poss. a boy), another child may have died from heart problems, and I was adopted out to a wonderful family. My adopted parents were not sure if any other children from my birth mother were adopted out. I also believe that I may have a younger brother or sister, but that was a guess.
Allegedly both my birth mother and her mother were believed to be on a program called ADC at the time. This was a program by the State to provide food and financial assistance for mothers with dependant children. I am looking for my mother for a couple reasons...1 of which is to find out more of my family's health history, 2 to find out what if any siblings I may have and if they would like to know me (I have none by my adopted parents),3 if my mother wants to talk to me that would be wonderful, but I am not here to interupt her life or those of any siblings. I understand that she may be married now with a family of her own, and she may not want ANY type of relationship with the kids she had adopted out. At the very minimum, I would like to see her face just one time and to ask a few questions. I am NOT looking to interupt anyones life.

Other Information: I am still getting info as it comes in from my adopted father. Thanx to Cook County, IL. for making this so difficult for so many years.
