I am an adult adoptee, still searching for my birthmother.

My non-identifying info is:
12/13/73 to an unwed Mother in Charlotte; The birthmom lived in Stanly County.

The birthmom was 18 yrs old..had completed 10th grade; this was her first birth; baby weighed 6 lbs 7 oz.

I was adopted through Stanly County DSS and still live in Stanly County. My adoptive parents are James H and Rita Furr Kohn. The name they gave me was Wendy Lorraine Kohn. My name now is Wendy Kohn Little.

I was told my birthmother was at Florence Crittenton Home in Charlotte NC and that is why I was born there. I was also told that she only saw a Dr in the last 3 monthes of pregnancy and did not tell my father about pregnancy and that he was older. She may have had a brother and a sister and I was told that her mother was very strict/religious and there was some family history of depression as well as drug/alcohol use. I don't know what of any of that is true.
