My husband Mike has been searching for his biologic parents for a few decades with no luck. He was born on January 7, 1973 in Virginia Beach, VA at Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was placed with his adoptive patents a few days later on January 10, 1973. The birthmother signed for the release of his adoption on January 18, 1973. The birthfather was listed as unknown and was contacted through legal notice approximately a year after his birth. This was a private adoption. The Attending Physician was Dr. David L. Sarrett and the Attorney was Donald H Rhodes. His records are closed but through non-identifying information we learned that the birthmother was 18 at the time of his birth.
