My birth mother had moved from Colorado when I was newborn and moved to Oregon to live with an aunt of hers in Astoria. My birth mother worked as a waitress and this is about all I know of her. I was placed for adoption @ 4 or so months after my birth @11/ 1972, I was adopted by a Coos County couple who went to Astoria to pick me up, and had made the arrangements thru the Clatsop County Welfare agency, and a Coos County lawyer who has since retired, and deceased. I was in custody of foster parents for a short time until placed with the adoptive couple, I assume in the Astoria area. My adoptive parents took me to live with them in North Bend, Oregon with their previously adopted at birth daughter, born in Portland, Oregon who was 3 and a half years older than me but had just survived spinal menegitis and herpes incephalitis rendering her handicapped for life. The adoption happened late 72 and was final with a new birth certificate from Colorado issued ?/Oct 30, 1973 . The numbers on my copy of that new record says the record was received Nov 20 1972 and the number on it is 105 72 29897 written just as is on cert. My newer copy of cert of live birth issued Jan 15 2009 says the number is 1051972029897. My adoptive parents were Richard Walter Mount age 33 born in Washington, and his wife Lois Ann Shaben age 28 born in Tacoma, Washington. There is no mention of my weight or length. There is no information as to what my birth mother did after the adoption, or the information about my Mothers aunt in Astoria, Oregon. I am unaware of any siblings, or any information on my birth father. I did not know what state to start my search in because it is rather difficult to assume what state has what information. I cannot afford to file the voluntary registry fee for non identifying info with Oregon, and am not sure if this is the right state to register with anyhow.mI am unaware of my parents names, or my birth name....I really need to know who I am, or who I was when I started here on earth


MOTHER AND DAUGHTER HAVE BEEN REUNITED AND IN FACT MY MOM NOW LIVES WITH ME IN OREGON. IT HAS BEEN AMAZING AND SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RESULT. THANKYOU FOR OPEN RECORDS IN COLORADO BECAISE WITHOUT THAT INFO I NEVER WOULD OF HAD HER NAME TO SEARCH. I STILL HAVE YET TO TALK TO OR MEET MY DAD BUT I AM HOPING FOR HIM TO CONTACT ME SOON.
