My birth mother was the daughter of an Army Officer stationed at Fort Wolters. I was born in a different wing of the hospital (not the maternity wing.) I was placed with an Officers family who also were stationed on the same base. My birth Mother and Father were 18 yrs old. My birth Mother wanted to be a nurse and my birth Father wanted to be a carpenter.
