My mother Leah Michelle Bass, born Lori Jane, was adopted to Anthony Morris and Marion Janet (Blankenship) Bass on Jan. 11, 1972 in Forsyth Co, GA. She was 3 months old at the time of adoption and her birthdate is Oct. 6, 1971. She was adopted through the Georgia Division of Family and Child Services. Marion and Anthony had one other child in the home, a seven year old boy who was also adopted. Her birth mother may have been a college student age 18-22 in 1971 from a wealthy family who was sent to a home for unwed mothers. She may have had a one night stand with my mother's birth father in January 1971 and had her baby in the home for unwed mothers.
