I am an AFRICAN-AMERICAN female and believe I was born in Durham, NC and that my birthmom lived in Burlington, NC. She was 17 yrs. old and in the 11th grade. My birthmom was described as light skinned, 5'8' tall with large bone structure. This enabled her to conceal her pregnancy for 9 months. She worked part-time in a 'dime store'. I am told she had 3 brothers and 3 sisters. She reported that my birthfather was a 20 yr. old African-American who was in the Military at the time of my birth.
