John Michael was born in Richmond VA ... my sister was in a Catholic unwed mothers home located on Grace Street (I think) and so far as I know the Salvation Army had some involvement in the adoption ... he was adopted very quickly ... I dont believe his father was listed on any records but its possible ... I have tried ... best I could ... to find my nephew for many years ... his grandparents and uncle got to see him after he was born ... I was only 10 years old and wasnt allowed ... it broke my heart ... the whole thing broke my heart ... his grandma passed in 1988 always wanting to know what happened to him ... his birth mom ... my sister ... would love to see him and hopefully learn he had a good life ... she is afraid he doesnt want to find her ... but I believe that isnt the case ... it was a closed adoption ... any help is most appreciated ... thank you for what you do ...
