I was born to a young lady near Florence, SC. It was a home birth then taken to the hospital in Florence, SC. My researcher has informed me that my birth mom name is Deloris Samuel. She is married now to James Rogers and they have 4 daughters. She is the youngest of 7 children born to Etta Mae and Wallace Samuel. My mother worked at a can company from May 1968 to the fall of 1968. She majored in Business Administration. She had hopes of becoming a school teacher. My maternal grandfather was in poor health since the summer of 1968 and in December 1968 suffered a light stroke. He was employed as a mechanic for the city of ?. My maternal grandmother never worked out of the home. My father was a lab technician at a near by plant in 1969. My mother's religion was Methodist. I have 1 brother born in 1967. He was placed for adoption at birth as well.
