Additional Info
Our mother stayed at the Booth Home for Unwed Mothers in Denver, Colorado until she gave birth. She gave birth at Booth Memorial, the associated hospital. Our mother has been searching for you, but she unfortunately died 7-4-2023 before we found you. She never wanted to give you up and always kept you in her heart. I would very much like to meet you. Open to anything from just reviewing family health history to something more. Our mother was diagnosed with Charcot Marie Tooth disease (CMT1E) at age 4. It is an inheritable, degenerative neuromuscular condition affecting mainly the arms and legs. The records I obtained from the Booth Home make it appear that my mother and her family may not have disclosed her health condition to the Booth Home, doctors, or adoption agency. There is a 50% chance that any of her children would get this disease. I did not inherit the CMT. Our mother did not have any other children. She has one brother and one half sister; neither had any children, so you and I are the only grandchildren of that line (we have no cousins of this lineage). Your birth father is Brian Wildenstein. He was a fellow student at Arapahoe High School. His birth date was 12-8-1950 and he died 3-25-2011. He was 17 at the time of birth. He was aware of the pregnancy. He is survived by two children and two grandchildren who are also related to you. I have never met any of the Wildensteins and our mother did not have contact with them after high school. My DNA is in Ancestry, 23andMe, and FTDNA.
