I am searching for my biological half-brother. Our birth mother was at the Crittenton Home in Wheeling, WV in June 1966 when he was born. She was taken to Ohio Valley General Hospital just before midnight, and he was born at 4:58 AM. Although he was born three weeks early and only weighed 5 lbs, 7 oz, he was considered healthy and well-developed. He was relinquished for adoption soon after. Less than a year later, our birth mother was admitted back at Crittenton in April 1967. I was born at Ohio Valley General Hospital on May 16, 1967, weighed 7 lbs 7 oz, and I measured 19 3/4 inches in length. I was relinquished for adoption at six days old. At eight days of age, I was placed in foster care in Berkeley County, WV. I was receivd by my adoptive parents, Fern & Lester Willingham of Ranson, WV on August 28, 1967. I was legally adopted some time after February 26, 1968. I believe that my brother and/or his wife tried to contact my (adoptive) mother some time between November 2010-February 2011. She denied ever adopting me and told me of the phone call a few months after the fact. I am nearly 45, and I recently found out (after years of speculation) that I was adopted. I am trying desperately to find my half-brother.
