I am searching for any information surrounding my adoption and/or birth family. My adoptive family was never forthcoming with any information, and sadly both of my adoptive parents and sister have now passed on. I believe that many of the details surrounding my birth and adoption have been changed; ie my birthdate (Oct 67). I have heard many anecdotal stories about my birth and the surrounding circumstances over my lifetime, but the information was always very fragmented and the details always changed - hence my uncertainty. One person told me on a couple of occasions to 'not be surprised' if my birth mother was a socialite and my birth father worked in the entertainment industry (a similarity we would share, if true), and was possibly from one of the Carolinas. I am 5'5, slim with a small frame. I have curly dark brown hair (blond at birth and as a small child), blue eyes, and am passionate about art, photography, holistic medicine, and travel. I have been told I was very sick with pneumonia and asthma as an infant and spent many months in the hospital after my birth. I have had a couple of bouts with ovarian cancer as well. I do not wish to upset anyone's life or current situation, I would just like to know. Discretion is not a problem for me if that is necessary to move forward.
