Additional Info
Private adoption was through Dr. Nicholas DiSanti, OB/GYN in Pascagoula, MS. The mother used the name of Sandra Luke as the patient at the doctor's office, but was admitted to Singing River Hospital as Sandra Sue Williams. Baby was released to us on July 2. 1966 directly from the hospital. Though born in Pascagoula, his permanent birth certificate lists his place of birth as Moss Point, MS, because this was our (the adoptivre parents) residence address (505 Main Street). We were told that the birth mother was from northern Mississippi; that she could not care for the child; that the birth mother's father had passed recently and she could not heap the responsibility of a child onto her mother in these circumstances. - We do not know if the birth mother ever married.
