He was born or grew up in Philadelphia and worked as a sports instructor on the Holland America Lines where he met my birth mother who worked there as a nanny. In 1965 he sailed on the HAL cruise ship ”Rotterdam”. They met again on another cruise in 1966 and is aware of my existence.
