My mother was born in either 1942 or 1943. My biological sperm donor was a few years older. I was six at the time. Not sure if it was September or October 1965, Richmond, VA ,but I was told my brother was born dead. I never saw a body (I was taken to the hospital by Ervin the next morning and I know my brother was born late that night or early morning...another story) and there was never a service. The other person in our family who knew Barbara was pregnant was my aunt Imogene. Barbara moved me from Kingsport to Richmond to be with Ervin when she found out she was pregnant. It's a complicated story but I've always known my brother was born alive.\n
