Birth mother was 18-20 years old at the time of birth. I was told the adopted son was born in 1967, but could have been as early as 1965, at Richmond Memorial Hospital (1965-1968 time frame). Birth mother was Italian. Stayed at a maternity home, don't know which one. Adoption may have been handled by Catholic Home Bureau or Catholic Charities. Details of the birth father are unknown, may have been U.S. military (air force). An uncle arranged and paid for the maternity home and coordinated the adoption.
