My name is Diane Yvonne Lovern and I am from Christiansburg, Va. I was born March, 30, 1951. When I was about 12 years old I became pregnant and was living with my Grandmother, Ada Lovern. Because I was so young my grandmother made me give up the baby for adoption. I was sent to the Salvation Army home and Hospital in Richmond, Va. When I had the little girl, I was in a Richmond Hospital. The baby girl had red hair and I think I called her Katherine, although the name was probably changed. I am 5'2' tall and have red hair. My daughter would probably also be short with red hair. The social services worker that handled my case was Kate Bolten. It has been so long I am not sure of specific details. My mother's name was Betty Lovern Bryant. I think the year my daughter was born on June 11, 1964. She weighed 5lbs. and 10 oz. She was born at 2:52aml. The doctors name is Dr. Menar.
