According to the Gr Aunt (still living) of the searcher (the niece of the adoptee), the child was born spring 1962. The family lived in Livermore Falls, Maine but she could have been placed anywhere in the New England region. The birth father was a divorced man from the area according to the birth mother's daughter who was 16 at the time the adoptee was born. Both women are now deceased and I'm searching for the granddaughter looking for this aunt. She guesses her aunt could have been placed anywhere in central or southwestern Maine, Southeastern New Hampshire or the Boston area. Odette was divorced at the time of this birth. Nancy (sister to the adoptee) told her daughter (the searcher) about this child and the name Sharon was mentioned. But she's not sure if that was the name the child was given or what she wanted to name her.
