My name is Edward "Martin" Hauser, I was born on March 24th 1962 in Charlotte NC and adopted in Greensboro August 21st 1962. I received my Ancestry DNA results om 1 Apr 2017 and found two first cousins. I'm looking for my birth mother, father brothers or sisters etc. My mother who was born in 1933 (+or-) and divorced in 1958 in NC. I once had a letter that my mother wrote to a Mrs Davis who I believe was a social worker out of High Point NC. that said her pregnancy was going fine and due date was April 4th 1962. My ex wife destroyed that letter. I met Helen Alsphau (social worker) in Greensboro NC 1994 who handed me over in 1962 to my adopted parents in a hotel and mentioned that my mother had two children. Per the non-identifying information from the NC my mother was divorced, met a mechanic and got pregnant. She was afraid that her ex husband would take her kids away so she left them in his care and went away to Charlotte to give birth to me and place me with the state to be adopted.
