My mother was Betty Mae Wehmeier, (Lippelman, Mueller, Hammann, Edwards) and was involved with a former Baltimore City policeman, Pat Duffy. He bounced and bartended on Baltimore's infamous "Block". Betty was a former Latin Quarter Showgirl in the 1950's. Betty was originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Pat was from Baltimore. I was born in Baltimore City and adopted through the Welfare Dept. in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. My birth name was April Lee Wehmeir (misspelled on documents) was supposed to be Wehmeier. I believe that these two had two children together. I would be the younger sibling (sister). I was born on December 7, 1964. My name is Karen Lee Anderson.
