My birth mother was a young single mother of another child, a son. She had an affair with a married man in the military. Her father told her that she could not keep another child, therefore, I was put up for adoption immediately following my birth.
My adoptive father was also in the military. (Air Force stationed in North Dakota) Their minister knew they were interested in adopting, and as far as I know, they went through him.
My adopted family remained in North Dakota for the nest year. My family asked to be stationed back in Texas. I have remained living in Texas ever since.
