My cousin was given up for adoption before I was born. It's kind of a family secret, i don't know details. The mother had divorced her first husband in 1957. She had four young children to provide for on her own. The father owned a bar on Nicollet avenue.
She remarried in 1962, and her second husband adopted her children. I'm not sure of the birth date or year because even though we're close, the mother has never told me those details and i don't want to pry.
It was sometime between 1958 and 1961.
