My mother had a sister who was developmentally delayed and was in the Florence Crittenton Home in Denver, Colorado in either 1959 or 1960 and gave birth to a girl. Her sister may have had another child, also while in the Florence Crittenton Home in Denver, around 1962-1964. She went under a false last name while at the home, but it may have been listed as DeRush or Dittman. Her actual last name was Haeske. The birth mother listed here died in an automobile accident in in 1966. My mother, who is 80, would love to find her lost niece and is only one of two people alive who remember and can tell the adoptee about their biological mother.
