I was born in Lafayette, La, adopted through St. Anns in Alexandria, La. My birth mother was 19, biological father was 27. I contacted one of the nuns that was at St. Anns and asked for information. She informed me all records were destroyed in a fire. This was a private, catholic adoption. She told me the age of both, my mother wanted to be a nurse, the nuns called me "Faith".
