Mother probably a resident of Home of the Holy Infancy, as Sister Clara Kuhn of Austin was the person responsible for the papers required in the adoption procedure, and this Home was where she served as local superior at the time of Dianne's birth. The legal firm of McNicholas and Schmolder, Dallas TX handled the adoption, which hearing was scheduled for 25 June 1958. It is possible that Dianne was born in Seton Hospital, as it was across the street from the Home and where most, if not all, of the Home's births occurred. All Dianne knows is that her mother was 'an artist.'
