Gladys was a fifth child born to Virginia at a time when her husband had left her alone with no source of income to raise 5 children she attempted to do it on her own but the struggle was to great. All 5 were taken or given up for their own good. The first two were given to a foster family who later adopted them ( much later) . Virginia tried for years to get them back. The next two were adopted quickly , Gladys was only two months old at the time we think she was adopted within a very short time Gladys is the last page in our story we need to welcome her into our fold.
