My Birth Mother was born in Pennsylvania but the family later moved to Michigan. She was 17 going on 18 at the time of my birth. She is of Irish/English descent. She worked for a time as a model for a large Department Store in Detroit (possibly Hudson's?) and had one sister who was 16 at the time of my birth. She was green-eyed, medium complexion, with dark brown hair. My Birth Father was about 19 at the time, and had seven siblings. He was the Manager of a shoe store. He was blonde, blue-eyed, medium build and fair complexion. He offered to marry my Mother, but she declined. I was born at Women's Hospital in Detroit. My Father was Catholic and my Mother was Lutheran. She was interested in going to college and was accepted at a college. She would have likely gone into the medical field. Her Grandparents were of German descent.
Her family moved frequently and she lived for a time with her Uncle, as well as her Grandparents. Her family included construction welders and a business owner. One relative was in the military. I know very little about my Birth Father. I do not know the names of either of my Birth parents. I am searching for any relative who may be able to give me additional information. My Mother would be about 76 years old now, and my Father about 78. I was adopted through Lutheran Children's Friend Society. My adoption was finalized in 1955 but I had lived with my adoptive family for quite awhile before that. Do you know me?
