I am searching for my biological mother or any other relatives. I was adopted in Baltimore, Maryland. It was a private adoption handled by Catholic Charities, and the adoption decree was filed by an independent attorney.Non-identifying information from Catholic Charities reports that my birth mom was 14 when she had me and she had siblings (a sister and 2 brothers?) She and her siblings became dependent wards of the state in 1942. She lived at the House of the Good Shepard parish/convent on and off between 1950-1953. I assume she resided at a Good Shepherd maternity home during her pregnancy. After she gave birth to me, I was sent to St. Vincent's Infant Asylum/Home until I was fostered and eventually adopted by Edward and Elizabeth Cooney in 1954.
