I have been searching for my Birth Mother and family for many years. I was raised by my Birth Father Robert Harris and adoptive Mother both now deceased, I was born and raised in Elgin, Ill. My Father chose to not give me much information when I started my search. My birth Mother is Evelyn May Hansen (possibly now Miles), birth date May 1st, 1930. I have 2 other siblings born to this Union we were 3, 2, and 1 when we last saw her around 1952. I have been given some information that last contact was near Haines City Florida, this was aprox 3 years ago. I have found old phone numbers on her but not any current. The women on this side of the family according to genealogy lived will into their 80’s and 90’s so I am thinking she is still alive since I have found nothing through social security death index, I also heard both her husband and son Tim(?) had died and she was alone, I am seriously wondering if she may be in assisted living or nursing home.. I have found some cousins along the way because I had my name and questions out there on genealogy sites! I am 62 and hoping to find more of the missing pieces soon!
