Not sure who the father was, not exactly sure how old my mother was when he was born, but believe it was after the war. My mother was still a student or a lab researcher at Wayne State University at the time. According to what we were told, he was given up for adoption at a few days old. I am also told he has tried to contact her via my uncle, who refused contact as he was concerned about her health at the time. That was before 1995, and I believe he attempted to make contact twice. My uncle does not recall the dates. We- the half siblings- had no idea an attempt had been made, and only found out several months ago.
