Searching for my Father's birth family. Was told he was born in Colorado Springs Mar. 2, 1945. We found a letter from my grandmother that says he was born Mar. 1, 1945. He was in the hospital for 10 days, then they could bring him home. They adopted from a church organization; possibly connected with the Quaker or Friends church. They stayed with the social worker "Milard Powell" in Pueblo, Co. when dad was born.
