Copy of birth certificate obtained says Marion was born in Chana, IL. Resided in DeKalb st the time of my birth. I was her first child. My adoption took place in Cook Cty, #113259, finalized 5/5/1946. I was 6 mos when I went to my adopted parents home but was told have a letter from a foster mother so not sure what age when I was given up. I note you reference Ancestry for DNA testing - my oldest child and I have done the test and I have been researching my matches. I am interested first to know that you are a legitimate help service, and what might come from giving this information to the universe. My brother is also adopted and this might bring answers for him also. We are both in our 70s, are aware it is important to give our children the best chance at finding answers if we do not as to their heritage. Thank you for your time.
