My grandmother, Florence Weiss, had a child with the neighboring family's brother, Henry J. Eder. Henry was a teacher. We believe that they were 7th Day Adventist and because my grandmother was Catholic, there could be no marriage, and the child was given up. We were told that she was taken to Sioux Falls, SD to have the child, however, no hopspital records exist, so we believe it was a home birth and the child was possibly privately placed within the extended Eder family or with Eder family friends. If still alive, the child would be in their 80's. We are looking for them or any of their family.
