My grandfather, Armin, was adopted by Clarence Thompson & Edna Jones I believe in 1929 or 1930. According to a 1930 Census, Armin still had the Palmquist last name. The 1940 Census, has Armin's last name as Thompson. After Armin had passed away, his wife, my step grandmother Helen, told me that his birth mothers name was Doris Madge McCall. Through DNA, I have found relatives with the McCall family. I have spoken with one of my relatives and she said Doris didn't have any children. If my grandfather new that Doris was his mother, I'm assuming he did have the adoption records unsealed. Unfortunately, my grandfather passed away in 1985 and I can't ask any questions.
