Dean Lee Zimmerman is my father and was adopted by my grandmother Beulah V Zimmerman in the fall of 1929 from a person who had some children in her home, I do not think it was an orphanage per say, but I do not know. The home was in Spokane, Washington and Dean was born in Spokane, WA.\nThe lady did have more than one child to adopt at her home. Dean Lee Zimmerman was baptized in St Joseph Church in Spokane on Nov 18, 1929 under the name of Leo Dean Zimmerman. His adoptive father and mother was Leo and Beulah Zimmerman of Bonners Ferry, Idaho. Our family does not know the date of adoption, from whom, or the birth parents - we actually have no knowledge concerning Dean's birth parents.
