Geraldine Hathaway DeBois Golden 16 Sept 1897 born supposedly in SC. However we can not find her in Census before 1970. She was raised in a convent in Jacksonville FL supposedly. Daniel Gardner (Golden) was born in 1867. He was skipping alimony when he 'married' Geraldine. She used his last name. I have no research records verifying Hathaway or Debois. These names come from my grandmother's Norma Golden Copenhaver knowledge of events that happened when she was 2 to 8 years old, when her mother died by suicide in 1926
