I am looking for my deceased mother's birth family. At the very least, I would like to know the family's medical history. The birth mother was supposedly 15 or 16 and the birth dad slightly older. Information sent to the adopting parents said the birth mother had above average intelligence and was musically inclined and the father was athletic. A nurse named Mary Kennedy may have stayed in contact with Cora. The attending Dr. was J.M. Cannon. The birth certificate was issued from OK -state file # 135-56-044211. The adoption was finalized in the 64th district court of Parmer County, TX on 5-31-1957. It was filed on 4-8-1957. Case #1915. The certificate says the father's consent was deemed not necessary.
