I did not find out I was adopted until I was 57, when my mother died. A cousin and aunt provided the few details I have. I have not been able to find any information from the state of MI, other than it was not an adoption through social Services. I know there was a brother, older and that the father had threatened my birth mother with death if she brought me home.
