My Mother Linda Jean Blenkle (McKenzie) gave birth to a daughter when she was in high school (father unknown) about 16 or 17 yrs old (she was born June 6 1949) at one of the 2 hospitals in Blackfoot Idaho where she grew up, as I don't know which hospital she went to? Her Mother (Flora Ada Blenkle ) took the female baby to Boise days after my mother gave birth to her and gave it up for adoption, because back then it was taboo to have a child out of wed lock. When ever I ask about the baby she gave up for adoption, she says it happened so long ago she doesn't remember, it was all a big blur and she avoids talking about it. I found this information from a cousin who kept asking all the time until Flora Ada Blenkle (my grandmother) told her they gave the baby up for adoption in Boise and told the cousin to never ask about Linda's baby again.
