Additional Info
My name is Kimberly (Kim) Riddle. I had a daughter on June 28, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Illinois. Her name is Autumn Antonia Moore. She went home with her prospective adoptive parents, John N. and Michelle D. Moore after our stay in the hospital and was legally adopted in late 2007. I have the good fortune of knowing where Autumn and her family live, and I write her parents a letter every year to provide an update on my life and implore them to write back to me. They stopped contact with me right after the adoption finalized with no explanation, though it was likely due to my lashing out at them during my grief and post-partum depression. I've registered here to ensure that my daughter can easily find me if she wishes, as I cannot (legally) and will not (ethically) reach out to her directly until she becomes an adult. \nAutumn, I have loved you since long before you were born. You were not an accident, and you were not unwanted. I will always be here for you, my arms and heart open wide to you and to your family. I wait as patiently as I can for the day that I can offer you an explanation for my decision. I hope that you are well, and that you are happy and loved. Love always, Kim
