My Mother, Ellen Anderson, was from Baltimore, MD but went to Hastings, MI to stay with her cousin (Huebner) for her pregnancy, delivery and the adoption of her son. She returned to Maryland and married a few years later to Duncan Schmidt, my Father. My Father insisted that my Mother have no contact with her adopted despite him locating my Mother when I was in middle school - he would have been around 18 - 21 years old in the 1970's. I was told about him after that visit but not his name or any details.\n\nI would like to find my brother and let him know that I and my family would like to meet him and let him know how much we love him.
