He had blonde hair, also about a year old, at the time. Adoptive family gave him the first name Jeffrey and the last name started with an O. I am the middle child, one of two older sister's. Our mother was being beaten by a boyfriend. She attempted to leave him and pack what we could and all of us kids, and left. We drove for hours. When it got late and Mom got tired, she pulled over to rest, in an attempt to not wreck with 3 kids in the car. Police pulled up, took our mother to jail and took us all away from her. When it came time for us to all find homes, the oldest was our sister LaTricia Weaver. She was adopted by our mother's adopted Mom Anna Jo Kelley and Grandpa Lonnie Kelley. They got in touch with my Dad, Marc Anthony Hayes. He took me in. The youngest was our brother. They found his Dad unfit and obviously our Mom was cause she had just been arrested for neglect, while only attempting to flee an abusive boyfriend. She was saving us all. Youngest brother, was then adopted by a family with the agreement that our mother never reach out to him. I am the sister to the adopted boy, I call my brother. I did NOT sign rights away. I am now 33 years of age and wish to find my brother that the state of Arkansas took away from me. The Adoption Agency and DHS in Harrison, Arkansas that was involved sis not even let us all say good bye. They walked in the room and took my little brother straight out of my crying grip and I NEVER seen him again. That is wrong. My name is Candice Richele Hayes and I am looking for my missing brother. I will find him. The family that took him, I have nothing against them. But, He was a part of my family first!
