Child was 7lbs 6 oz 21 inches long delivered 10-5-88 at 4:51am, Broadway Methodist hospital by Patrick Doherty a family doctor. Child was placed for adoption several days after birth. Birth parents worked with "Lisa" of Catholic Charities in Gary to allow foster Mother named Joyce to assume temporary custody while working out signing of final papers. Met Caseworker named Lisa and Joyce and someone named Janet at St Mark's Catholic church in Gary for foster mother to take temporary custody of child on a Friday after the birth. Birth parents took child back to Broadway Methodist for a blood test he needed to have post partum. Birth parents sent baby to new home with pacifier , baby blanket and a request to see a picture of the baby in his new home. Birth mother received a hand written note and picture of baby roughly 4 months later around Valentine's Day 1989. Adoptive mother spoke of sweet natured baby, shared a picture of him at 3 weeks old. Letter was hand printed with no details attached provided to birth mother through case worker at Catholic Charities.
